Pre-School Story time
For children aged 3 – 5 years old. We will listen to stories and participate in songs and creative movement activities to encourage development of early literacy skills in your preschooler. Story time meets on Tuesdays from 10:30 – 11:00am. Please sign-up at the library or by phone.

Parent and Tot Time
For toddlers up to three years old accompanied by an adult. Enjoy an interactive story time with your child that includes early literacy fun with books, songs and movement activities. Tot Time takes place on Thursdays from 10:00 – 10:20am and 10:30 – 10:50am. Please sign-up at the library or by phone.

Join us on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 4:00 – 4:45pm to discuss a well-loved children's chapter book. This intergenerational book club is suitable for readers ages 8 – adult. Please register in the library or by phone at (248) 588-5500.

PAWS to Read!
Come to the library to read to a dog. Our favorite certified therapy dogs love to be read to ... so pick out a book to read to a furry friend! Sign-up for a 10 minute time slot at the library or by phone.

Let’s take a road trip with Woody, Buzz, and the gang! Bring the whole family to the library a viewing of the animated feature film “Toy Story 4” (rated G). Popcorn will be provided!

An Hour of Code with 24GenNEXT
Join us on Monday, December 2 from 6:00 - 7:00pm at the library. 24G's team of experienced programmers and creatives will help your kids get a head start in learning the basics of code! The Hour of Code is a nationwide initiative by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer science and computer programming. Drop-in Ornament Making
Just prior to the Christmas Tree Lighting, drop-in to the library to make an ornament to decorate the tree in Memorial Park. These natural ornaments will also feed the birds this winter!
