Wednesday Afternoon Book Club

Mat Yoga-For-All Ages (Virtual Program)
Join Marilyn Bird for a virtual basic yoga class, designed for all ages and skill levels. This class will teach you how to improve your flexibility, strength and balance with basic yoga poses and breathing techniques.

Old Chicago Road: US-12 from Detroit to Chicago Presentation (Virtual Program)
Take a road trip down Old Chicago Road! With origins dating back to the end of the last ice age, the road known as Michigan Avenue was most familiar to early settlers as the "Old Sauk Trail. Old Chicago Road: US-12 from Detroit to Chicago traces one of America's oldest and most famous routes—from its eastern origin at the very center of Detroit to its western terminus on the north side of Chicago.

Summertime Coloring Kits (for Adults)
Our summer-themed coloring kits *for adults* will include a delicious tea, beautiful coloring pages, and coloring supplies for some relaxing coloring fun. These kits will be available on a first come, first served basis and supplies are limited.
Pick yours up on Friday, August 6th starting at 10am on our curbside pick-up table.

Technology Trainer Bart Gioia will talk about decluttering and making money by selling your unwanted items online.

The Friends of Blair Memorial Library meet at 6:30pm on the first Monday of the month (September–June). This dedicated group of library boosters welcomes all members of the community to join them as they plan activities and fundraisers to support the library. 


   

Clawson Business Resource Center Programming

Through a partnership of the Clawson Blair Memorial Library, Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and the support of the Oakland County Small Business Center we offer an extensive collection of resources for all your business needs.

Business Mentoring:
One-on-one business mentoring is available by SCORE representatives, current and retired business executives, offering no cost confidential counseling. Request counseling online at https://detroit.score.org; click on ‘Request a Meeting’ in the green box on the right side of  the page or phone 313-226-7947.

Note: Appointments may be scheduled in Clawson, at the *Blair Memorial Library, every Wednesday from 5pm-8pm. If you desire the Clawson location please specify. If using the online scheduling note Clawson in the ‘Your Question’ box. Clawson is the only location that offers evening counseling.
