Deferment of Taxes
Senior citizens 62 years and older with a yearly household income not exceeding $40,000 can defer their taxes until February 14 without penalty on their Clawson Homestead Property only. They need to sign the deferment form and return it to our office by September 15th of each year. To download the form click here. Dropbox for Payments
A drop box for payments is located at the south entrance of City Hall beneath the Police/Fire Telephone. To avoid penalties or late charges, payments must be received before closing on the date the bill is due. When a due date falls on a weekend or a city designated holiday, payment will be accepted, without penalty, before close of the next business day the Treasurer's office is open.

Current year taxes may be paid via credit card or electronic checking through Official Payments Corporation. Official Payments charges a convenience fee for their service.
