Come practice yoga and learn how to release tension and stress as you strengthen your muscles and build flexibility and balance. Research has shown that yoga can help lower blood pressure, relieve anxiety and help you sleep better. Beginners and all skill levels welcome.

Mindfulness Yoga
Hunter Community Center
Instructor: Marilyn Bird, RYT
Start where you are.  Cultivate self acceptance and mindfulness while learning an ancient practice that promotes both physical and emotional well-being. We will learn breathing exercises, yoga poses and explore meditation techniques. Notice the positive changes in your energy level, your balance and flexibility. Experience feelings of peacefulness and relaxation, and after class has ended, enjoy a night of restful sleep. Bring your mat, and a blanket. Yoga blocks and straps are provided.
