Clawson City Park

935 N. Custer
Clawson, MI 48017

The Clawson City Park is our city’s largest outdoor recreation area and hosts such events as the 4th of July festivities and Fall Festival in October. Throughout the park, there is:

-Stadium Field: a football and soccer field, surrounded by an asphalt track

-Additional soccer field

-Baseball field

-Softball field

-Skatepark

-Tennis courts

-Shuffleboard courts

-Sand volleyball courts

-Children’s play structure

-Fenced tot lot

-Open play area

-Restroom facilities on both east and west sides

-Woodchip trail (0.75 mile around)

-Picnic pavilion: The Clawson Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for pavilion rentals. There is a side A & a side B that we reserve each day, both hold about 75-90 people per side. There are electrical outlets on each side, as well as grills. The rental is for the entire day and we only reserve one side per household. We can give date availability over the phone, but to actually reserve to the pavilion, one must come to Hunter Community Center to fill out a small form and pay. We do recommend cash or check, as there is an additional fee for using a card here. On a weekday, the rental cost of a side is $65 for a resident and $130 for a non-resident; on a weekend, it is $75 for a resident and $150 for a non-resident per side. Please call (248) 589-0334 for any additional information.
