Teen Center
The Clawson Teen Center is located at the Hunter Community Center and is a place where middle and high school students can come and relax after school. The Teen Center is in cooperation with the City of Clawson Parks and Recreation and the Clawson Public Schools. Students can also receive information on preventive measures related to substance abuse. The Teen Center is a fun and safe place to be a part of! The number one rule at the Teen Center is RESPECT. Students may be suspended or membership may be cancelled without a refund. Some memberships may not be accepted depending on the circumstance. Teen Center allows students to be more independent on the middle and high school level.
Daily activities include open gym, basketball, dodge-ball, Wii, movies, Xbox, Playstation 2, video games like Guitar Hero, board games and much more. The Teen Center also has an area that will make you feel like you are relaxing at home as you enjoy watching movies on a big screen T.V. Participants are also able to take advantage of the on-site library, while supervised by Teen Center staff. The Teen Center has a small store that sells all kinds of snacks, beverages and food items priced from $0.10 to $1.00. The money raised allows the Teen Center to continue to offer additional snacks and other inexpensive items.

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS: come enjoy free snacks everyday during the summer and participate in activities that include: PIE EATING CONTESTS, PICNICS, TOURNAMENTS, BASKETBALL, BASEBALL, FRISBEE, WATER BALLOON TOSS’, FLAG FOOTBALL, OUTDOOR WATER ACTIVITIES, VOLLEYBALL, SOCCER, CHEEROFFS, BBQ’S and FIELD TRIPS (for an additional cost).
