The City Council approved the reduction of the speed limit on Main Street from 14 Mile Road to Walper from 35MPH to 25MPH at their meeting on April 7, 2007. At the City Council Meeting of October 2, 2007 the City Council approved adding 14 Mile to Phillips as part of the new speed limit on Main Street. Click here to view the .pdf minutes on the City Council's action on this item.
The new speed limit on 14 Mile from Phillips to Walper is in effect as of October 5, 2007. The speed limit has been reduced from 35MPH to 25MPH.

The City of Clawson in its continuing efforts to upgrade the city's local and major roads, water mains and sewer system will be holding an informational meeting for residents and property owners in the affected areas:
Massoit - Crooks Road to Nahma Ave
Batchewana - Massoit to South city limit
Webik - Massoit to South city limit
Chocolay - Massoit to South city limit
Manitou - Massoit to South city limit
Gargantua - Massoit to South city limit
Marias - Massoit to South city limit

The City of Clawson in its continuing efforts to upgrade the city's local and major roads, water mains and sewer systems will be holding an informational meeting regarding the upcoming road re-construction project on North Main St / Livernois from Maple Rd. to Broadacre Ave. (just north of Fourteen Mile Rd.)
The intent of this meeting is to inform the adjacent property/business owners about the project and to answer all questions. The meeting will be held in the Clawson City Hall Council Chambers and will be attended by city representatives, project engineer and the general contractor. The meeting is expected to last approximately one hour.
