A History of Clawson Firefighters



Firefighting Equipment and Apparatus


The Clawson Fire Department operates equipment out of two stations. Our main station holds Squad 16-5, Engine 16-4 and Ladder 16-6. Our auxiliary station, holds Engine 16-3.

1988 Pierce Dash pumper, Catapiller Turbo Engine with a four speed automatic transmission and included a 1250 gallon per minute two stage pump and 500 gallon water tank.



Squad 16-5, 1993 International cab and chassis with an eight compartment body and rollup doors.



Engine 16-4, 1997 Pierce Saber pumper. Detroit Diesel engine with five speed push button automatic transmission, and a Waterous 1500 gallon per minute two stage pump.





Ladder 16-6, 2003 a Pierce Enforcer ladder/pumper truck. Cummings diesel engine, five speed automatic transmission, Waterous 1500 gallon per minute two stage pump, and 300 gallon water tank. The ladder is 75 feet tall.
