Zoning and Planning Commission Services


This section is charged with the evaluation of planned developments as well as review and recommendations on zoning amendments and special development. This is accomplished by providing ordinance-mandated technical review and recommendations for all zoning matters.

Objective
To enhance the quality and minimize negative impacts of large new developments and to expedite permits and licenses for approved projects.

Qualifications and Restrictions
Participating companies and projects must comply with all federal, state and local program requirements. Contact the Building and Engineering department to determine eligibility and information regarding other zoning matters including general zoning.

Licenses


Business Licenses are not transferrable from one owner to the next. You will need to re-apply for all applicable City licenses. Please note: When selling a business, you MUST cancel your business licenses. Simply not renewing will keep you on the records and may delay applying for future busines licenses.
