The Downtown Clawson Framework Urban Design Plan encourages development that focuses on a pedestrian friendly downtown, featuring a mix of retail at street level and residential on upper floors, along 14 Mile and Main Street. The plan includes the creation of three new streets within the downtown which provides additional development opportunities. A diverse mix of businesses, cultural and entertainment opportunities will attract a diverse group of visitors to the downtown—those who live here, work here, shop, and find entertainment here.
