From the homepage you can begin your visit by either clicking one of these catagories or by moving your mouse curser over one of the first four catagories a number of sub-catagories will become visable, any one of which you may click on. Because this will skip the first page of the catagory, we recommend first time visitors (or those looking to find updated main catagory information) begin by clicking on just one of the main seven catagories. Looking at the sample page below and following the next five steps will show you how to continue your visit. You can always click “Clawson Home” to open the homepage. The “Clawson Site Map” is also a simple way to view the general contents of this website.
The seven main catagories appear in orange type, tipped vertically on every page at the upper right so you can always quickly go to the first page of any main catagory.
The main catagory is shown in large blue letters at the upper left so you’ll always know which main catagory you’re visiting. And by clicking there you have another way of opening that main catagory’s first page.
The dark blue square contains, in white type, the sections within each main catagory. For instance, within the main catagory “Clawson Government” will be a section titled “Departments”, one of six “Clawson Government” sections. When you click a section the first page of that section will open and the section title will appear highlighted or “lit up”.
Some of the sections throughout the website may have sub-sections. These will appear in orange type under the large photo. For instance, in the “Departments” section there will be listed eleven sub-sections, such as “Parks & Recreation”. The title of the sub-section you are currently visiting will appear in red to further help you remember your location.
In some instances, a further division will be used. These will appear to the right of the orange sub-section listing, in blue type.
