The City of Clawson website was created and continues to be largely developed by volunteers including the Cable Television and Internet Services Advisory Board as well as the various city departments which maintain the website. Thanks to Bill Tite (Hinterland:41 Art and Design) for designing and programming the website. The site was programmed with Macromedia DreamweaverMX 2004 v.7 and contains various elements created in Flash.
Laurie and Dave Anderson at tomfolio.com generously hosted the website in its developing stages. This is from Laurie’s sister Janeen Sharpe, a Clawson resident, “Laurie, my sister married Dave Anderson who grew up in Clawson and his whole family has deep roots here. His grandfather helped build the railroad bridges, his mother Irma Anderson, was a teacher in the Clawson system for years. Laurie mentioned to me the other day, how circular things are. Dave and her were discussing that here they are living in Tennessee helping out his old home town develop their website and glad to do it. I think that speaks pretty highly of Clawson residents.”
Thanks also to Kathy Phillips for writing sections of pages in the site, Kurt Hack for administering the new domain and server, and Steve Celmer who helped build the maps. The following are the CTVISAB members responsible for launching this website: Charles Saylor, Janeen Sharpe, Chuck Davis, Fred Wirth, David Ouellette, Kurt Hack and Bill Tite.
